PROJECTS

Picture

Pictured above are most of the key people who created our alphabet books.

Seated is Debby Haas.  Standing from left to right are Judy Steinmetz, Roberta Leach, Carol Anders, Karen Vlach, Claire Staire, Barb Hrdlicka, Linda Bruno, and Dorothy Winovich.  Absent are Mona Tomko, Kathy Slenczka, and Marilynn Kubach.

A very special thank-you goes to Claire Stair, who proposed the project and guided our work from start to finish.  Thanks, too, to Mona Tomko for assisting with the completion of the project.

Special Project: Textured Alphabet books for Preschools

Scranton School Project
Becky Hricovec and Carol Anders delivered all of the school supplies and duffle bags to Scranton School last month.  The Principal, Mr. Beadling, was so thankful for all the donations.  It will really help the foster children and the students at the school.  I know first hand how much the families are in need of help to provide their children with the necessary school supplies.  Thank you for your generosity.  It was consciences by members attending the meeting that the monetary donations we collect at the Christmas meeting go to be used to provide uniforms for the school children who need them.

In 2022-2023, Scranton School would welcome any 8x10 or larger picture frames to showcase the accomplishments of students.
